Privacy policy

This site is a personal portfolio. It is built to share who I am and what I’m working on, not to track or profile its visitors. The notes below describe exactly what does (and does not) happen when you browse it.

What this site collects

marksaviour.io is a static website. It does not run analytics, advertising scripts, fingerprinting, or any third-party trackers. It does not set cookies that identify you.

Standard server logs may be kept by the hosting provider (typically including an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, and a user agent string) for the limited purpose of operating the site, debugging errors, and protecting it from abuse. These logs are not used to build profiles or to target visitors.

The contact form

The contact form on the contact page does not transmit anything to this website. When you press Submit your enquiry, your browser opens your default email client with the message pre-filled. The message is then sent from your own email account directly to me. The website itself never receives or stores the contents of that message.

If you choose to email me directly (for example via the Get in touch link), the resulting correspondence is handled in my personal email inbox and treated as private.

Embedded content & outbound links

Some assets are loaded from third parties, for example web fonts from Google Fonts. Those providers may receive standard request metadata (such as your IP address) when delivering the asset. Outbound links to platforms such as LinkedIn and GitHub take you off this site, at which point the privacy policies of those services apply.

Your choices

Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to opt out of, delete, or export. If you would still like to ask a question about how the site works, or you believe something on this page is inaccurate, please reach out using the contact details below and I’ll take a look.
